Set in a serene spot surrounded by lush greenery, this place is also great for trekking and camping by the falls. Do check out the crocodile breeding center in the pond created by the falls and visit Dattatreya Temple and Ranganathaswamy Temple. Kuntala Falls:
Nestled in the dense forests of Adilabad, Kuntala falls are the highest waterfalls in Telangana with a height of 200 feet. Originating from the Kadam River, water gushes through two steps from a rocky platform and it appears as two separate falls after a heavy downpour in the monsoon. Legend has it that the falls got its name from the mythological character Shakuntala who used to bathe here. To catch the entire view of the falls, hike down the 400 steps from the entry point to the bottom of the falls. Don’t be tempted to go near the pool as the slippery surface near the banks could be dangerous.

Bheemuni Paadam:
Situated in Warangal, Bheemuni Paadam is among the picturesque waterfalls near Hyderabad. The naturally formed rock over which the water cascades looks like the footprint of Bheema (one of the Pandava brothers) and hence, the name.
