Bring a folding chair and plan to arrive as early as 8 a.m. You can also pre-order, so you can appreciate each succulent piece without waiting in line. You must, however, place your order at least six weeks ahead of time.

Allens Boots

Allens Boots has been an Austin institution since 1977, noted for its high-end leather footwear. Allens Boots is where celebrities, movie stars, and famous singers go to get the coolest western attire. Thousands of cowboy boot pairs are available here, ranging from stylish Western booties to exotic crocodile skin. If you’re looking for western clothes, go to the original South Congress location. Bridge on Congress Avenue
